Please join us and other FIRST teams in our travels to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C, to inform and advocate to our country's leaders about the importance of STEM education. Not only is this a great outreach program, but it also gives students the opprotunity to learn and embrace new communication skills.
This event was to educate parents about CSMTech (Clarkston Science, Mathematics and Technology).
Team RUSH helped teach parents about Team RUSH and gave tours of the shop area.

The official unveiling of the game and start of the new season! This event introduces the new students to FIRST and gets the team pumped up! Parents helped a lot during this event- especially with the food and field! The team also got a great chance for team building!
Parent volunteers built our field according to the dimensions specified by the Game Manual.
This was the students first time in the shop this season.
This is held annually on December 27. Alumni come from all over the United States for thsi reunion. The vent provides a great way for us to chek on the progress of each alumnus's 10-Year Rule fulfillment. Every year since 1997 was represented, making 19 total years of alumni!
The event included delicious food, games and getting to know new members. Students engaged in a white elephant gift exchange and friendly conversation. Many RUSH Alumni came to visit during the party.
Team members were trained in how to use the website. Created a plan and schedule for working on the site during build and competition season.
Students interveiwed with two to four professional workplace interveiwers and were given feedback
for future interveiws.
